ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Melody.

I am a dynamic professional with a proven track record in sales enablement, marketing, and strategic communications. My experiences range from driving successful email marketing campaigns and managing cross-functional collaborations to orchestrating impactful awareness campaigns for a non-profit. Drawing from my background as a former staff writer for the Everett Clipper and public affairs officer in the Navy, I bring a unique blend of communication skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions.

During my years as a communications lead and content developer, I have honed my skills by collaborating with sales leadership and subject matter experts to cultivate strong stakeholder relationships through effective storytelling. My ability to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams and external partners has been instrumental in achieving the team's collective sales goals.

Previously, I served as the Media Communications Specialist at CADA, a Washington non-profit, where I orchestrated impactful awareness campaigns through digital and social media communications. My proficiency in crafting consumer journeys, coupled with a website overhaul and SEO maximization, led to a 34% surge in website traffic.

Before that, I attended Washington State University. There, I created a slew of marketing campaigns and developed multiple communication strategies. I was also a staff writer for the school newspaper, The Everett Clipper.

I’m originally from Las Vegas, Nevada; I’ve lived in Florida, Hawaii, Washington, Japan, and now Colorado. I enjoy snowboarding, thrifting, and cooking. I'm a veteran, a cat-mom, and coffee-junkie.
